Privacy
We are committed to safeguarding your privacy, and the quality of content and accuracy of product information is paramount to us.
DISCLOSURE
We do not publish press releases. When we feature a product, we will clarify if we have tested the product, or if we own the product, or if we have seen the actual product, or if we are writing about it from photography.
We only write about products that meet our criteria of quality and safety. If we have actually tested a product (for example, ski goggles we try out on the slopes etc.) we will state this in our review.
Our recommendations are decided and based on our eyewear expertise.
A large majority of the optical boutiques/shops that we feature, we have personally visited during our travels. We invite opticians to contact us, and to let us know if they are opening a newly designed shop.
We do NOT accept payment to write about products or shops. We do, however, accept paid advertising on the site. BUT – this has no influence on what we write about in our postings. We respect the distance between editorial and advertising. If a company/manufacturer/shop wants to advertise, they must pay for that.
Photos/images that appear on our site have the approval from the source of the photo (i.e. manufacturer, optical boutique, eyewear designer etc.) All photo credits are listed where necessary.
