Vuarnet with Skilynx
11th December 2011 As well as the models already reviewed in our “Winter Luxe” series in the last few days, I am pleased to present two great shapes picked from the French label Vuarnet, now part of the Alain Mikli company. Vuarnet S model VL1108 (above) and the terrific aviator VL 1106 (below) are both typical examples of this elegantly presented sports sunglass collection, which focuses on quality, sturdiness and overall stylishness with beautiful retro touches. The Skilynx mineral lenses have a real history, invented by opticians in 1957 specifically for alpine use.
