A slow design concept:expression in purity of form, graphic design, colour + texture
Hütte is presenting three new accessory lines, fruit of a study focused on artisanal objects of pared-down graphic design: launched in 2020, the brand is the most recent project signed by Raffaella Colutto, a visual designer with an eclectic and international background. The new designs are to show at Milan Design Week 2021 and point to the new trends in craftsmanship, colour and material selection in the textiles field – with a sustainable context. Research into materials, together with the intermingling of different yarns, is the distinctive trait of a vast range of accessories presented by the brand, comprising throws, blankets and cushions, as well as ponchos, shawls and scarfs, whose three lines are classified on the grounds of different textile fibres. Linen and cotton come together in the Swing series to confer freshness, making them suitable for use in warmer weather; a composition of superfine wool and alpaca interpret Moonrise, which is ideal for cooler temperatures. Finally, Nuance is a blend of extrafine merino wool and linen, both of which are natural thermoregulators, allowing for the excellent versatility of the garment.
On the occasion of Milano Design Week 2021, from 5 to 10th September 2021, Hütte will present the new collections as part of the project curated by H+O, Elisa Ossino Studio and File Under Pop in the space of via Solferino 11 – Miilan. Find more information at www.hutte.it
