Continuing a partnership that we have followed closely for some years, the new collection by J.F. REY and Hideo Kojima features, among seven new models which include ophthalmic frames, a sunglasses concept using acetate and aluminium in a single design. The range reinterprets the sun clip-on popular in the collaboration line and consists of two optical models in acetate, distinguished by a flip-up aluminium sun clip, created in black or grey depending on the model.
The sun clip is designed to perfectly fit the optical frames according to J.F. Rey,”reshaping” the look to make it original, modern, and easy to wear. Removable and convenient in all its details, the clip has been fitted with polarized lenses for protection against glare in the brightest of conditions. Above: HKxJF08 Hideo Kojima x J.F. The original style of the sunglass edition blends retro elements with contemporary design, using the signature references from the characteristic graphic universe of Hideo Kojima: jungle patterns, camouflage effects, crystal blue, and brushed black. The temples of the models are signed with the design Kojima Productions, adding a further distinctive touch to each frame. The collection also includes optical frames in the Iconics series and “Carbon Inside” styles which are produced in acetate with carbon fibre.
