French eyewear focusing on craft and quality: Maggio Eyewear – model Brigitte in colour “Salins” – informed by the colours of St. Tropez’s Plage des Salins

Julia Maggio’s stunning eponymous collection of frames and sunglasses is inspired by southern light, contemporary design and consistent, highly accomplished craftsmanship. The new collection – Endless Summer – draws on her childhood memories in Saint-Tropez and Ramatuelle. She celebrates a discreet and sunlit Saint-Tropez — the quiet mornings in La Ponche, the artists in retreat, and an ageless elegance — a suspended summer, far from clichés. Endless Summer is a collection of sunglasses with a timeless, free-spirited allure. The oversized, sensual frames pay tribute to the icons of the 1960s and 70s — Romy, Jane, Brigitte — while embracing a distinctly modern vision. www.maggiojulia.com
