At a time when the trends of the earlier decades (1940s, 50s and 60s in particular) are more evident than ever, our eye is drawn to the artisan designs that represent those values as they first appeared, with the same level of original design, and artisan quality – interpreted for today.
Vue dc duo Chris Mascré and Yolande De Clercq revisit the concepts of vintage, with a fresh “chic” proposal for how to wear beautiful handmade gems.
Art Black STF Swarovski, pictured (above) on De Clercq, is one of the charming iconic designs highlighted in their collection – with over 40 Swarovksi stones set on either side of the front.
This month, Mascré explains a new addition in the collection, previewed at the trade shows in NYC and Milan, earlier in the year: “Model Pop 432 is one of our new “retro” styles, playing with the thickness and volume and the choice of material with a very intense colouration. This design comes in six colours, including black, ivory, crystal, yellow marble and red.
