The Spanish brand finds inspiration by the pool 

Jisco Eyewear, the Spanish independent brand inspired by all things Mediterranean, celebrates summer and the party season with a new collection entitled Jiscothèque Pool Party.

The sunglasses and optical frames featured in the line express a mood of individuality and self-expression inspired by the golden era of disco, with feel-good designs and bold use of colours, patterns and combinations. Vintage inspiration is at the heart of the line, and the use of colour is dazzling and surprising, informed by neon lights, flashing mirrors and the energy of the dance floor. The Hailey model from Jisco is an angular style for women with vintage-style, layered detailing on the outer edges, combined in matching tones of lilac (above, top) or layered in contrasting colours such as black and white. This style is also available in a beautiful brown patterned effect with gold metal trim (above).

Eyewear news: theo collaborates with Floran Polano

The eyewear label joins forces with Floran Polano, a master’s student at the Royal Academy of Fine Arts, Antwerp

The Belgian eyewear designers theo have teamed up with fashion designer Floran Polano to create the larger-than-life frames, inspired by Polano’s graduation collection at the Royal Academy of Fine Arts. The frames were 3D printed and reflect the poetic, melancholic tone that the designer wanted to create, bringing to life his design philosophy “constructed beauty” in womenswear. Floran Polano has already attracted attention in the fashion industry. In 2o24 he appeared on the cover of Vogue China and Numero Netherlands. He previously received the Artos Award for his innovative approach to fashion design.
