Intro

A favourite month for eyewear

In a month where not one but two key eyewear exhibitions take place (Vision Expo West and Silmo), we look forward to an exciting time, seeing what’s coming up in terms of trends, colours and new launches. We will be reporting on what we think stands out, in previews through September and in the months following these two international shows. As well as introducing a variety of exceptional collections and designs, including some gems from as far afield as Australia, we will be reporting on some favourite finds in the luxury collections. See you in Paris! CN

June Edition: Tech, Trendy & Terrific

For our June edition, we explore the intriguing aspects of global eyewear materials.  Clodagh and I are always fascinated at how science and technology enhance the realisation of luxurious and unique eyewear. Remember to check out Boutiques for savvy eyewear shopping, and Design and Inspiration provides market and trend updates. Throughout the month, we’ll also bring you current events in City Guides. Welcome to new discoveries – and June Eyestylist! JG

May edition: S/S ’11 Sunglasses Focusing on the Spectacular

We are very excited about May! Eyestylist is focusing all its attention on sunglasses which combine good design and quality production…..not forgetting the little extras that give sunglasses the wow factor…the gorgeous shapes, colours, tonal combinations, seductive materials, and the incredible styling, which this season touches in particular on the 1950s and 60s, but not exclusively, as you will see in our editorials…our choices this month are made to highlight the variety of trends in sunwear…and to inspire our readers to explore what they might want to be wearing. We will adding new styles regularly, selecting the designs and brands we believe are setting the example. If you wish to inform us of any styles you have seen that you think we should take a look at, please contact us today!
