Look : Rigato men’s series

Part of Look’s modern MODA collection, the Rigato style 4680 features a grooved decoration in the acetate material

Adding to its already colourful collection, the new Rigato optical styles feature a particularly eye-catching detail on parts of the design. Very narrow grooved lines on the edges of the front – like reeding on the edge of a coin – decorate the frame and add a visible contrast to the smooth surfaces of the translucent frame fronts.  In this series, the shapes reinterpret the iconic styles of the past with a contemporary twist. The small 4680 style features 1950s-inspired squared lines that makes it soft and rounded. Above:the new entry at Look – Rigato contemporary designs for men – the Italian word ‘rigato’ translates lined or scored

Close-up: Rigato features a linear decoration – adding texture

Colours in this collection further highlight the details and contrasts between polished, matt and ridged surfaces and draw from both tradition and modern design trends to create something unique: as well as havana hues and solid natural shades like orange-infused rust, the blue and green accents, combined with natural brown temples, offer men an alternative more energised eyewear style with a brightly coloured finish.
