The Dancers collection is an elegant RES/REI classic. Inspired by ballet, its gestures and movements, figures and twists, the frames explore a concept of three-dimensionality with movement created through form and sculpted detail. On the upper rim of each frame, a narrow acetate line replicates rhythmic, twisting effects likened to the movement of a dancer’s satin ribbon. The colour combinations of models Aurora (above), Bolero, Clara, Giselle and Manon – feature playful and bright tones selected to highlight the sculptural thickness of the frame front and temples.
A mix of translucent colours and patterned custom acetates achieve a lively dynamic to flatter the female face. For the model Giselle, a choice of several exclusive colorways include a brown and blue havana with purple, a brown and green havana with soft pink and light blue with mint, and a stunning, unusual colored crystal effect that has the lightness of a delicate fabric like tulle or delicate gauze.
